Business Support Analyst

The Business Support Analyst works collaboratively with the internal business teams to understand the business opportunities and challenges, then uses Netsuite and information to drive effective decision making. The business support analyst will also design and implement solutions for the company’s ERP systems in coordination with the IT team and our strategic vendors. Business support analysts are responsible for ensuring requirements are covered through solution design, development and testing.

In addition, this role requires general technical knowledge associated with distributed office support including evaluating, installing, and maintaining IT hardware and software, printer support, basic network and providing 2nd level support to Help Desk for office related issues. We are willing to train a strong candidate in the technical aspects of the role, if they have a base knowledge of the preceding.

Responsibilities and Expectations

  • Understand business results and assertively drive better decision making
  • Develop reports and analysis to assist management in delivering better results
  • Collaborate with technical resources to ensure requirements are complete and accurate
  • Create acceptance test criteria
  • Participate in system and integration testing
  • Serve as a technical expert regarding all aspects of desktop support
  • Responsible for responding to customer calls or tickets, troubleshooting, & resolving technical issues
  • Evaluate, install, and maintain PC’s, laptops, monitors, and printers
  • Maintain asset tracking and proper inventories of hardware, software, and printer supplies
  • Maintain software license compliance
  • Perform Office365 administration and basic Active Directory administration
  • Create and maintain desktop documentation
  • Diagnose and trouble shoot issues within the desktop environment
  • Provide NetSuite administration support

· Business degree a plus including Accounting or MIS

· Working practical abilities in statistics

· Microsoft Certification (MCSE) or A+ certification preferred

· NetSuite administration a plus

· Office 365 administration

· Ability to troubleshoot network, printer and desktop issues

· Must be available for travel between various Florida Offices

· Travel requirement 25%

· Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds

· Ability to use an ITSM ticketing system to process work requests

· Proficiency in installing and supporting hardware/software in a Microsoft environment

· Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting

· Working knowledge in supporting desktop and printers

· MAC experience a plus

· Familiarity with antivirus software and Windows server 2008 R2

· Meraki/Cisco a plus

· Monitoring and troubleshooting backup software’
