Candidate Responsibilities:

The individual will lead technical aspects of NPI and CPI programs for liquid filters, along with providing customer product support for existing liquid filters currently being utilized on Caterpillar machines and engines.

Typical Day

Available during core business hours. Some after hours meetings may be required to support international customers.

Education Requirements:

BS in Engineering

Technical Skills

Ability to read 2D drawings, understanding of GD&T. Experience using Caterpillar software, HVC, EDS, RWA. Basic understanding of engine and hydraulic system operation. Demonstrated ability to lead complex projects. Understanding of APQP and PPAP. Understanding of manufacturing processes. Understanding of DFMEA, PFMEA, and Control Plans. Extensive Pro-e experience a plus.

Soft Skills

Must be able to communicate well - both verbal and written. Ability to relate well to various people in all parts of the organization - must be collaborative. Ability to translate complex technical information into presentations that are easily understood by upper management and stakeholders.
