Associate Systems Designer - IVRS

Working along with significant supervision,this position will learn to and assist in providing management of the IRT timelinesand significant systems issues for all systems assigned. The positionwill help the designer to coordinate the IRT project management activities forinitial system releases, system changes, and project maintenance for the fullduration of the project. This position assists the design in themanagement of the IRT project timelines and budgets as assigned. Thisposition assists the designer who serves as the primary liaison between theclient and IRT ensuring timely delivery of all required IRT services afterinitial system release.

* Assist the designer as the primary liaisonbetween the client and IRT ensuring timely delivery of all required IRTservices.

* Assist the designer in coordinating systemchanges following initial system release

* Assist the designer in developing trainingmaterials and system support guidelines and train users and support staff asneeded.

* Assist the designer in managing projectbudgets and timelines as they apply to IRT to ensure services are provided in atimely manner and IRT stays within the study budget.

Education and Experience:

* Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification

* Previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 2 years') or equivalent combination of education, training, & experience.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

* Understanding of relational database concepts.

* Ability to focus on project work and efficiently bring projects to completion.

* Strong written and verbal communication skills.

* Familiarity with data manipulation or presentation tools (such as SQL, report writing packages, or MS Access).

* Demonstrated proficiency in office productivity applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Excel).

* Ability to work as a member of a multi-disciplinary team and adapt to changing priorities.

Working Conditions:

* Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment.

* Occasional drives to site locations with occasional travel both domestic and international.

Physical Demands:

* Frequently stationary for 6-8 hours per day.

* Repetitive hand movement of both hands with the ability to make fast, simple, repeated movements of the fingers, hands, and wrists.

* Frequent mobility required.

* Occasional crouching, stooping, bending and twisting of upper body and neck.

* Light to moderate lifting and carrying (or otherwise moves) objects including luggage and laptop computer with a maximum lift of 15-20 lbs.

* Ability to access and use a variety of computer software developed both in-house and off-the-shelf.

* Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand; with the ability to listen to and understand information and ideas presented through spoken words and sentences.

* Frequently interacts with others to obtain or relate information to diverse groups.

* Works independently with little guidance or reliance on oral or written instructions and plans work schedules to meet goals. Requires multiple periods of intense concentration.

* Performs a wide range of variable tasks as dictated by variable demands and changing conditions with little predictability as to the occurrence. Ability to perform under stress. Ability to multi-task.
