We are currently recruiting a Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor at Broughton Hospital. The Licensed Clinical Social Work Supervisor will coordinate, direct, and supervise a segment of the social work services at Broughton Hospital and serve as an active member of the service area management team, as well as on hospital-wide committees. This position serves as a member of the supervisory team that interviews and hires new social workers and implements new orientation modules for their service area. Responsibilities include the clinical/administrative supervision of social workers assigned to their service area, provision of weekly supervision to social workers with a provisional license, using strict adherence to the NCSWCLB regulations.

As a clinician, this position will provide direct social work services, including but not limited to, attendance and participation as a member of Treatment Team, Risk Assessment meetings, NCSTART, and collaborative meetings with the MCO. This position will complete documentation and facilitate group, individual, and family therapy. Will observe, monitor, and evaluate staff job performance and conduct chart record audits as part of the social work program and hospital performance improvement initiative. Provides oversight to social work staff to ensure compliance with the DOJ Settlement.

About the Facility:

Broughton Hospital operates 297 beds and is one of the three regional psychiatric hospitals with statutory responsibility for operating as part of the Division of State Operated Healthcare Facilities (DSOHF). With the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services, we provide help and support to North Carolinians, and their families, experiencing mental illness. Our hospital serves the western thirty-seven (37) counties of North Carolina, as part of the state's system of care and treatment for persons with mental illness. Construction is currently underway for a new facility that will include 382 beds.

Recruitment Range: $51,895.00 - $88,221.00 / Salary Grade: GN14

Qualified applicants must submit an application clearly documenting work experience that

includes each of the following:

* Experience supervising social workers

* Experience developing and assessing performance plans

* Experience working with different populations (I.e. disability, age, or culture)

* Experience utilizing a variety of assessment tools/techniques and treatment approaches

Management Preferences:

* Experience supervising clinical social workers in a behavioral/mental health setting.

* Knowledge of the DOJ Settlement (NC-In Reach/Transition to Community Living) and DSM-V.

* Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission standards for psychiatric hospitals with deemed status.

* NASW Certificate in Clinical Supervision

Master's degree in social work from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of experience as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker as required by the NC Social Work Certification and Licensure Board.

Necessary Special Qualifications - Licensure by the North Carolina Social Work Certification and Licensure Board as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
