Financial Benefits Consultant

The primary purpose of this

role is to evaluate, design,

implement, communicate and administer Lowe's financial benefit programs and/or healthcare and wellness programs , balancing aggregate

expense with market competitiveness and the work-life needs of every associate's

experience dealing with ongoing financial wellness and retirement readiness .


* Evaluates, designs, implements and administers financial benefits, healthcare or wellness programs

* Manages vendor oversight, data analytics, compliance management, employee escalations, ongoing administration and fiscal oversight

* Designs and manages the Company's 401k plan, deferred compensation plans, and other financial benefits plans, potentially including the employee stock purchase plan

* Primary responsibility for compliance with federal and state laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA , HIPPA , DOL ; oversight of internal HIPPA and other privacy related training and certification efforts; completion of governmental filings and distribution of required plan notices and disclosures

* Works closely with benefit plan vendors, consultants, HR senior leadership, HR business partners, communications and HR operations to ensure the successful delivery of benefits solutions

* Manage the day to day administration of all health, welfare and retirement benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, disability, postretirement benefits, 401k, deferred compensation), policies and procedures based on organizational needs and regulatory requirements/changes

* Maintain s employee benefit plan documentation, including plans, trust agreements, amendments, committee minutes, SPDs, SMMs, testing and governmental filings; responsible for electronic storage of all employee benefit plan-related documentation

* Lead process improvement efforts across the rewards portfolio, relying on LEAN and project management concepts

* Ensures employee benefits data with internal and external partners is accurate to ensure appropriate delivery of services and provide the ability to appropriately analyze and report

* Provides oversight of contractual relationships and manages new vendor intake and execution ; develops and manages RFPs and manages the transition of 401k planrecordkeepers and administrator


* Bachelor's Degree Human Resources, Business , Finance or related field (Master's preferred)

* 10+ year's experience - Progressive responsibility in the benefits field
