PURPOSE OF ROLE:

The principle purpose of this role is to provide financial analysis and financial modeling / valuation support to executive decision makers in the assessment of the Company's strategic growth investments.

The Finance Manager will manage a team of financial analysts responsible for developing valuation models, decision frameworks, and recommendations for investment opportunities by conducting robust financial analysis and utilizing appropriate valuation methodologies. The Finance Manager will also be responsible for corporate development type activities, such as decision support for M&A activity, divestments, and strategic partnerships; as well as investment decision support for real estate strategic development.

To accomplish this, the individual must have strong financial modeling skills, business valuation experience, knowledge of the financial due diligence process, cross-functional leadership experience, the ability to effectively and objectively communicate findings and analyses to executive level, non-technical audiences, and previous direct people management and coaching experience.

RESPONSIBILITY STATEMENTS:

* Manages a team of financial analysts who will develop financial and valuation models, materials, and recommendations by conducting comprehensive financial analyses and utilizing appropriate valuation methods for real estate and M&A decision support

* Prepares insightful valuation overview and analysis materials for senior executive audiences

* Reviews and provides input on definitive agreements including, LOIs, Purchase Agreements, and Lease Agreements

* Supports finance partners in the operationalization of valuation models, development of ongoing measurement, tracking performance versus expectations, and providing recommendations for corrective actions

* Contributes to the ongoing enrichment of the Corporate Finance function through best practice development

* Acts as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Thought Leader with respect to financial valuation and model development

REQUIRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field

* 9+ years of experience in finance or analytical role in public company, accounting, or transaction services

* Experience with Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

* Significant experience with financial modeling and valuation best practices

* Experience in structuring and writing formal documents, developing and delivering group presentations, project planning, and/or cross-functional collaboration

PREFERRED EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

* Master's Degree OR MBA

* CPA OR CFA

* Experience leading people directly
