Description

This position is for an intermediate level Programmer Analyst. This contract person will perform the following duties: - Assist ADRS in technical work involving upgrading to the most current version of Visual Studio (2017) - Assist ADRS in upgrading Team Foundation Server - Modify/create build scripts - Convert application code and custom controls from vbscript to javascript - Collaborate with ADRS IT Managers and development staff to ensure development projects are successful - Train/mentor lower level development staff members - Work closely with internal customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements - Make recommendations towards the development of new code or reuse of existing code - Participate in component and data architecture design - Perform performance monitoring - Provide product evaluation recommendations - Participate in scrum and sprint development sessions - Perform other typical programmer analyst duties; convert user requirements into design specs, write application code, test new or modified applications, create suitable developer documentation, etc. Contractor shall provide the following deliverables per direction of and assignment by ADRS management: a) Monthly Work Log b) Timesheets (if Applicable) c) PBIs/Documentation

Experience Required 2 years of experience installing/upgrading Microsoft Visual Studio and Team Foundation Server tools 4 years of experience writing highly complex code and customized controls utilizing vbscript and javascript 2 years of experience creating customized build scripts 4 years experience creating and testing SQL 4 years experience in VB .Net development 4 years experience with HTML 2 years experience with XML 2 years experience with CSS 4 years experience with IIS configuration and troubleshooting

Experience Preferred: Experience creating/testing applications for Section 508 compliance Experience creating browser independent applications Experience creating MVC applications Experience with C#/C++ Experience with JSON Experience with AJAX Experience with WCF Experience with BootStrap Experience creating interface routines

Education Required: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
