Under supervision of registered pharmacist and according to established policies and procedures, assists in preparing and dispensing of prescription items, as well as assisting for over the counter purchases, maintaining neatness in the pharmacy department, and other duties involved in daily operations of the pharmacy.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the State of Michigan & Nationally Certified (PTCB)
- Ability to read and accurately post medication orders in patient profiles and other records
- Arithmetic ability to calculate charges, inventories, dosages, make change, etc.
- Basic keyboard knowledge and computer skills for accurate data input
