ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

* Oversee the ongoing administration of all trust accounts and estates in portfolio.

* Set up and establish accounts in accordance with terms of the trust instrument and in a manner consistent with fiduciary standards. Ensure all terms of the legal documents are being met.

* Review and recommend acceptance or rejection of potential trust accounts; suggest and review fee scales.

* Meet with clients regularly to determine changing needs, if any. Appropriately document all contact with clients in a timely manner.

* Regularly review accounts to ensure that it is appropriately invested and that it meets investment guidelines. Communicate regularly with investment officer assigned to account.

* Ensure all tax liabilities and obligations of accounts are met.

* Analyze trust instruments to determine duties and responsibilities of the bank.

* Plan and participate in appropriate business development activities including actively cultivating prospects and new clients through networking and attendance at social/educational functions.

* Provide estate-planning information to clients.

* Direct escrow matters by reviewing agreements, accepting items or funds being deposited, and at closing, securing proper releases.

* Maintain a broad knowledge and thorough understanding of Federal regulations, policies and procedures and the regulatory framework in which the bank operates as well as current trust and wealth management trends.

SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS Work outside normal business hours as well as some travel may be required.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree in related field, plus five years or more of trust/banking/ investment experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Effective presentation and strong customer service skills, the ability to multi-task and meet changing conditions, as well as the proven ability to read, analyze and comprehend financial reports and legal documents are necessary. A proficient, working knowledge of computers and bank- related software are considered a must. CTFA, CFP preferred.
