General Purpose:

The 2nd shift (12noon-9pm) Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of our rental properties, as well as common areas throughout the property. They lead, train, and supervise the housekeeping team while ensuring the staff follow the proper safety and sanitation standards.

Essential Duties:

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding guest satisfaction goals.
  • Inspect and evaluate physical condition of the resort and rental Program units and follow through ensuring desired standards are achieved.
  • Ensures guest rooms have all necessary supplies and meet all aspects of our Rental Program contractual requirements.
  • Clear and efficient communication with Front Desk Agents and Managers.
  • Group Arrival preparedness.
  • Ensure all staff is properly trained and have the tools and equipment needed to effectively carry out their respective job duties.
  • Touch-up cleaning in units when necessary.
  • Accountable for ensuring the success of the night to night Housekeeping operation, including the supervision of area managers, supervisors, and line employees.
  • Aid in setting standards within units.
  • Participate in department meetings.
  • Inventory of supplies.
  • Ability to open and close their shift.
  • Other duties as assigned.


  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Hospitality experience is a must.

Basic Required Skills:

  • Supervisory or management experience
  • Establishes and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees and ensures employees do the same with them.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must have knowledge of Microsoft software such as Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to work night shift.

Physical Demands:

  • Most work tasks are performed indoors. Temperature is moderate and controlled by the environmental systems.
  • Must be able to stand and exert well-paced mobility
  • Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to fulfill cleaning tasks.
  • Must be able to exert a well-paced ability to maneuver between functions occurring simultaneously.
  • Must be able to lift items weighing up to 25-50 lbs. as needed.
  • Requires grasping, writing, standing, sitting, walking, repetitive motions, bending, climbing, listening, and hearing ability, and visual acuity.
  • Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors, and other employees.
  • Vision occurs continuously with the most common visual functions being those of near vision and depth perception.
  • Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
