We are currently seeking a Quality Technician to join our team. In this newly created key role, you will support and enforce Quality Best Practices throughout several locations and ensure product is manufactured according to established processes.

Responsibilities

Together with Quality Engineer maintains process monitoring tools (yield tracking, Quality trends, etc)Assists MRB Team with non-conforming material identification, segregation and disposition activitiesReduces and controls process defects (non-conforming materials) by leading efforts with cross-functional teams Assists Quality Department with investigations to determine Root Cause of product or component non-conformities using 8D, 5-Why and Fishbone diagram quality toolsAssists Quality Department in completing corrective action activities including follow-up to ensure corrective actions were effectiveParticipates in Quality improvement projects as assignedAudits production equipment status to ensure calibration actions are completed Assists with training of production personnel with topics including but not limited to workmanship, inspection techniques, data collection, and documentationRisk-based approach to problem solvingAssist in internal Audits to ensure process conformance

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of experience in Semiconductor industryMinimum of 3 years of experience in a Manufacturing background Strong written and verbal communication skillsApply thorough data-based approaches to identifying, communicating, and solving quality issuesNon-conforming material reports – creation and understanding of dispositionsQuality tools such as corrective actions, non-conforming material reports, and supplier corrective actionsRoot-cause investigation techniques such as Fishbone Diagram and 5-WhyFamiliar with ESD controlsExperience using general office software MS Office (i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint)

Preferred: Degree or Certificate in Manufacturing, Technical Field or equivalent work experienceMetrology and calibration experience First Article inspectionAudit experience (supplier, internal, customer)Project managementLean manufacturingERP system knowledge (SAP a plus)
