Director, Market Management

The Director of Market Management will oversee and develop the capabilities of the Market Manager team that currently consists of individuals representing the markets we serve: Ambulatory, Acute, Post-Acute and Strategic Partners. In this role, the individual will be responsible for driving MQLs, which are Marketing's contribution to bookings revenue for each of the markets. Candidates must have demonstrated success in leading and motivating teams to drive growth, possess proven management and leadership skills, be results-oriented, and showcase strong analytical and project management skills.


Essential Duties:

* Lead the team in the development of the marketing strategy by analyzing, prioritizing, approving marketing activities to generate leads and increase brand visibility and equity

* Help team obtain or exceed monthly Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Marketing bookings contribution

* Oversees and monitors the Market Manager budget

* Works with Market Management team to manage overall advertising strategy (print, online, social media) and budget

* Hold responsibility for the measurement and results of all marketing efforts generated from the Market Management team

* Participate on approval team for certain designated outward-customer marketing messages and branding

* Maintain up-to-date expert level knowledge of industry and regulatory trends that influence product requirements, purchasing and quality care measures and utilization

Essential Responsibilities:

This position has supervisory responsibilities for direct reports. Team leadership and acting in a team lead capacity is required. He/she will carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with ABILITY policies. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; acknowledging and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

* Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred

* Minimum 10 years of marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years leading marketing teams at fast growth companies

* Must have experience building team trust and collaboration through: team building, individual development, talent acquisition, staff engagement

* Strong interpersonal, communication and written skills

* Able to meet tight deadlines and prioritize a varied workload in a fast-paced, sometimes unpredictable environment; comfortable with ambiguity

* Effective written and verbal communication skills; a must to be effective in this position

* Knowledge and respect for working within corporate branding principles

* Ability to think creatively and independently to help Market Managers produce new ideas and concepts that create an environment that brings out the best of your direct reports

* Results driven and able to work independently to achieve set goals

* Comfortable interacting with a variety of stakeholders (e.g., Sales Ops, Product Management and Sales teams)

* Strong project management skills with technical and business acumen and proficient in Microsoft Office suite

* Excellent organizational, analytical and planning skills with great attention to detail

* Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple tasks

* Candidates with healthcare experience strongly preferred

* Strive to develop and lead a "world-class" marketing team
