Corporate Development Overview:

Naviga has an active corporate development team that is positioned at the forefront of highly strategic acquisitions and partnerships. You can expect a dynamic work environment that provides significant development opportunities, senior team visibility and a robust introduction to mergers and acquisition in the content/media software industry. Naviga has a goal of completing 2-3 acquisitions a year and has completed 5 in the last two years.

You will be working with a small and experienced team that is responsible for executing inorganic growth initiatives across Naviga, including acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Corporate Development also works as a trusted strategic partner to Naviga's executive team, completing innovative projects.

Corporate Development - Mergers & Acquisitions Intern Role Overview:

The Mergers & Acquisitions intern role provides an opportunity for students to be positioned at the forefront of highly strategic acquisitions and investments for a privately-owned software organization. You should expect an exciting, fast-paced and dynamic work environment that provides insights into Naviga's business and strategy, participation in the M&A process with significant financial and leadership opportunities. As a member of our Corporate Development team, you will see firsthand how Naviga is changing the content/media industry through applying your undergraduate finance, research and business knowledge, as well as through supporting active transactions. You will be working with a small and experienced team that is responsible for executing inorganic growth initiatives across Naviga, including acquisitions and strategic partnerships. Corporate Development also works as a trusted strategic partner to Naviga's executive team, completing innovative projects.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Researching and evaluating potential M&A targets across
  • Building and developing financial models, including, but not limited to, core financial statement projections, valuation and revenue retention
  • Being engaged on internal diligence teams comprised of all parts of Naviga's operations
  • Researching and refining your general understanding of the software industry with a focus on Content/Media
  • Supporting team members on special projects (e.g., industry research and new business initiatives) related to developing inorganic growth strategies and facilitating long-term M&A goals

Qualifications Required Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university
  • General understanding of business operations
  • Basic knowledge of financial modeling and valuation techniques
