Business Office Manager

The Estates at Bloomington is seeking a full-time Business Office Manager to join their team. This position is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm.

Position Summary:

This position is responsible for the completion of all business office tasks performed at the location, including but not limited to payroll/personnel, accounts payable and receivable, general administration, hiring and billing. Implement procedures for timely and appropriate record keeping, billing, data management, and information system reports.

Duties:

Maintains accurate employee records, affirmative action documents, and attendance and hours records; provides documentation for payroll processing; manage Workers Compensation records, process claims and provides follow-up; interacts with employees and works as a liaison between staff and administration. Manages all personnel records, employee medical records, and mandatory periodic reports. Act as team lead and mentor as it related to all business office functions and staffing. Coordinates the daily flow of financial information/documentation to facility the timely billing and collection of accounts receivable and resident billing. Assures appropriate maintenance of all business office equipment. Performs all duties as trust fund custodian in accordance with Resident Trust Fund policies and procedures including weekly reconciliation

Qualifications:

Must be a proven leader with sound conflict resolution and interpersonal skills. Must be able to work efficiently with a diverse population. Management experience in skilled nursing or health care is desired. Strong organization skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment. Must have the ability to relate professionally and positively and work cooperatively with patients, families and other employees at all levels. Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must qualify for employment, after criminal background check, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.
