Senior Paralegal

Several of our brands pioneered their specialty vehicle product categories and date back more than 50 years.

This is a newly created role for our Milwaukee office. It supports our General Counsel and legal team that is in the process of being built. A great opportunity to support a new team, build processes and experience a broad breadth of business law.


* Review, draft and analyze contract terms and conditions and assist with ongoing contract administration.

* Assist in preparing documents for business transactions including leases, acquisitions and dispositions.

* Check and edit legal forms and documents for accuracy.

* Investigate facts and laws to determine basis for causes of action in the areas of intellectual property, product liability and general commercial litigation.

* Manage due diligence activities for business transactions.

* Coordinate corporate governance matters, including subsidiary management, minute books, and board books.

* Draft cease and desist letters regarding intellectual property matters.

* Assist with labor and employment investigations and hearings.

* Help maintain knowledge management and file management systems.

* Manage outside counsel billing system, including preparation of matter and spend reporting.

* Administers the compliance hotline system, including preparation of matter reporting.

* Supports the company's ethics and compliance program.

* Coordinates internal response to subpoenas and court filings.

* Prepare and compile memorandums and other legal documents.

* Submit travel expenses and other reports.


* Bachelor's degree, associate's degree or certificate program in paralegal studies.

* 8-12 years of experience as a paralegal in a corporate or law firm setting.

* Preferred 3 years of experience using legal database software.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Highest degree integrity, discretion and confidentiality.

* Thorough knowledge of legal principles and practices

* Strong work ethic, good judgment and professional maturity

* Well organized and detail oriented with an ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

* Strong technical and project management skills

* Relevant computer software experience such as MS Word, Adobe, Acrobat, Excel, Power Point

* Enjoys interacting with others and has a good sense of humor
