  • 1.0 FTE is Full-Time, any position less than 1.0 FTE is Part-Time, and .001 FTE is Optional Part-Time*

Shift: Shift 1

Responsibilities:

Provides primary clinical management and coordination of care for all Hepatology patients in collaboration with hepatologists, physician assistants, pharmacy and other clinical staff. Services provided may include direct patient care according to scope of practice, coordination of program resources, coordination of quality improvement initiatives, and coordination of the continuum of care to these patient populations as well as to any patient in the GI/Hepatology Clinic. Other duties as assigned. Reports directly to Manager of GI Services. Other duties as assigned.

Summary:

Three to five years experience in nursing field is required. Hands on patient experience in an intensive care setting; experience relevant to subspecialties is preferred (Hepatology and/or transplant). Bachelor's degree in Nursing is required. Requires current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a Multi-state Nursing License from a participating state in the NLC (Nurse Licensure Compact). American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider (BLS) or an AHA approved equivalent is required within three months of hire.
