Job Description

Our brewery accounting coordinator performs all details and complex routine and non-routine duties relating the Milwaukee Brewery Controllers Department, including but not limited to:

* processing of hourly payroll

* tracking, monitoring and reporting all financial information to Brewery management

* tracking, monitoring, and reporting production data material movements and beer removals and movements according to federal regulations

* accurately processing the invoicing and reconciliation of finished goods, packaging materials, and shipping supplies

* researching, analyzing, and developing proposed solutions to all assigned financial information



High School Diploma or equivalent required, BS or BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred

Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting required, experience in data processing, reconciling accounts, and payroll is preferred

Key Knowledge & Experience :

Thorough knowledge of the principles and procedures of production accounting, cost accounting, and payroll

Advanced knowledge of MillerCoors Company policies and procedures with respect to Payroll, TTB, Cost Accounting, and the ability to relate these to brewery operations

Requires the ability to prepare cost studies related to the operations at the direction of the brewery's Finance Manager and/or Financial Analyst

Requires the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of management, outside suppliers, internal customers, and government agencies in order to answer questions, resolve problems and/or communicate information.

Requires ability to accurately and efficiently perform complicated account reconciliations and verifications.

Requires a thorough knowledge of Federal Beer Regulations regarding brewery record keeping and controls.

Requires a thorough understanding and interpretation of hourly labor contracts as they relate to pay practices.

Requires advanced use of Microsoft Office Programs as well as other mainframe programs. Must have the ability to use and develop new end use applications and graphic presentations.

Requires the understanding and interpretation of various output reports from SAP, QBS, FGCS and T&A.

Requires the ability to independently recognize problems or potential problems and to initiate solutions or prevention techniques.

Requires the ability to accurately and efficiently handle multiple tasks and process large volumes of work in order to meet established deadlines with minimal supervision

Requires the ability to maintain confidentiality of information. Routine handling of confidential and sensitive material requiring the use of proper judgment.

Requires sound analytical and organization skills and use of sound judgment for decision making.

Requires the ability to cross-train in all principal duties while still maintaining timeliness and accuracy on one's own primary functions
