The purpose of this position is to contribute to autism family navigation being conducted in Dr. Amy Van Hecke's laboratory, Department of Psychology, College of Arts and Sciences.

Duties and Responsibilities

1.Coordinate and organize autism family navigation client lists.

2.Screen children for autism using standard tools, and enroll in family navigation if they meet criteria.

3.Complete training in family navigation and autism.

4.Conduct family navigation.

5.In coordination with UW grant partners, enter data into RedCap.

6.Assist in the planning of meetings, panels, and outreach activities for autism family navigation, in coordination with Mental Health America.

7.Interface with community autism service providers and agencies.

8.Participate in community autism awareness and education events.

9.Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* High school diploma.

* Minimum 1 year experience working with children, adolescents, and/or adults in any setting.

* Knowledge of and experience with family navigation models

* Knowledge and experience in autism

* Efficacy with computer programs, including RedCap.

* Work includes standard office environment, as well as some home visits.

Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

* Transportation, insurance, and driver's license.
