Basic Function Summary
When assigned to the TH-73 platform, employees will work both Inventory Control Technician and Warehouseman job descriptions.
Be familiar with Naval Aviation Supply System as it applies to Organizational, Intermediate, Depot and Commercial level maintenance.
Must have the ability to acquire working knowledge of all areas listed below under “Essential Duties and Accountabilities” to facilitate exceptional logistics support.
May be required to handle hazardous materials in performance of assigned duties.
Must demonstrate sound mathematical computation ability.
Must be able to read, speak, write legibly and understand the English language.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES
Receive, inspect, store, distribute, issue material as required.
Perform packaging and shipping functions.
Comply with DOT Hazardous Material Transportation Procedures.
Initiate disposal/turn-in actions.
Expedite urgent requirements.
Perform perpetual and other related inventories as required.
Perform warehouse location audits as required.
Ensure security of supply branch spaces and related proprietary documents.
Maintain cleanliness of the work center and around your assigned work area.
Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations.
Must comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract, facilities and job assignment.
Document work accomplished on government and company electronic and/or manual Information Systems.
Pursuant to the specific provisions of the CBA, at the discretion of management, may be requested to perform the duties of Lead.
Assist in ensuring the safety, security, inventory and preservation of Government owned and Company owned equipment.
Perform other related duties within the job classification.
Must have three (3) years documented hands on specialized experience in Department of Defense Supply/Warehousing Procedures (Naval Supply experience preferred).
Must meet any other qualification standard imposed by the government contract not covered by this agreement.

This classification activity is usually accomplished in a warehouse environment and as such requires the scope of physical movements and postures normally associated with warehousing activities. May be required to lift objects whose weight normally will not exceed 50 pounds.
The diversity of work conditions may range from an environment where there is little or no physical discomfort, to an environment where inclement weather may subject individual to severe changes of temperature, wind, rain, etc. May be required to work in areas where high noise hazards prevail. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles. May be exposed to electrical shock hazards.
