Job Summary

Responsibilities include:

* Managing Concho's well scheduling process including chosen software and keeping other teams accountable for their inputs

* Coordinating with drilling, regulatory, land, engineering, geology, and surveying personnel to ensure wells are scheduled, surveyed, plated, permitted, staked, and locations prepared for active Midland Basin asset drilling program

* Coordinating with land personnel to ensure drilling schedule maintains all lease development obligations

* Conducting regularly scheduled meetings with team members to review progress, changes, and other issues with drilling program

* Tracking progress of drilling programs to ensure all required tasks are completed prior to spud

* Maintaining historical tracking of drilling programs in Excel

* Maintaining and optimizing related spreadsheets including production, completions, and general activity tracking

Education/Experience Required

* Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited state-certified program

* Minimum of 1 year of oil & gas technical experience; regulatory experience a plus

* Demonstrated work experience and a high degree of proficiency with Excel and Access software

* Demonstrated work experience and well-rounded knowledge of oilfield terminology and operations required

* Must be able to work in the United States indefinitely

Education/Experience Preferred

* Undergraduate degree

* Prior work experience with Spotfire and demonstrated database management skills

Skills/ Attributes Desired

* Self-starter, motivated, requiring minimal supervision

* Good communication skills and team player

* Must have excellent communication and teamwork skills and be able to coordinate multiple projects

* Detail oriented and accuracy driven a must

* Strong excel knowledge is a must
