Job Summary

Responsibilities include:

* Partners with stakeholders, process specialists, and users to elicit and document business requirements

* Translates non-technical requirements into technical business requirements

* Elicits requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task and workflow analysis

* Evaluates alternate solutions and design processes and systems which includes user impact considerations, cost and benefit analysis, and processing specifications

* Uses knowledge of oil and gas industry/technology to recommend systems and process improvements

* Analyzes, documents and tests program development, logic, process flows and specifications

* Partners with business to conduct user acceptance testing

* Completes Service Design Plans and documents user manuals to describe application installation and operating procedures

* Coordinates the project resources to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget

Education/Experience Required

* Bachelor's degree in computer science, management information systems, business administration or related field

* A minimum 5 years of experience in Oil & Gas industry

* Experience with Enertia, Workday, Aries, OFM, Wellview, Generwell or P2 Land a plus

* Demonstrated experience in writing software requirements and test specifications

* Able to understand business functionality and translate it into application requirements

* Ability to create compelling business cases with accurate cost and effort estimations

* Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question thought partners across functional areas

* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

* In depth understanding of the various software development lifecycles (e.g. Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

* Concho's annual review and application of the Fair Labor Standards Act has determined that this position is an exempt position

* Must be able to work in the United States indefinitely
