Regional Procurement & Materials Coordinator

The position's primary responsibility will be to ensure procedures are followed for the proper requisition, delivery and accountability of all Capital/Operating equipment for Production operations and all material control activities for the WTX region. This position will include support from Dallas Procurement.

Major Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

* Track and coordinate issues and receipts of all WTX Asset company owned equipment.

* Coordinate, in collaboration with Dallas Procurement, the delivery and purchase of new facility equipment and the repairs to existing facilities. Coordinate movements of surplus from well locations and batteries back to the storage yards. Ensure inventory records are updated timely and accurate.

* Prepare or assist with purchase requisitions for Production Capital/Operating equipment and evaluate equipment/material for local purchases. Coordinate shipments with Dallas purchasing group and field personnel. Work with production engineers and foremen to coordinate shipments and requirements.

* Assist production foremen with material transfers and coordinate entering in Workflow with Dallas Purchasing and Accounting support. Conduct physical inventory counts and reconciliations on a regular basis for all of Company's storage locations and inventory sites.

* Arrange the sale, with Dallas purchasing support, of Hunt owned equipment on leases when needed. Continually build relationships between vendors with Hunt personnel.

Required Skills

* Excellent communication skills

* Knowledge of SAP is a big plus

* Must be a good negotiator and act as intermediary between suppliers and user groups

* Analytical ability preparing spread sheets and recommendations

* Technical ability to understand the use and function of equipment used in the drilling, completion and production operations

* Excellent attitude and willingness to learn

* Be able to adapt to and work in a field environment including a significant amount of time in the field working with operations and company foremen

* Resolve complex delivery, quality or other related problems with purchases. Represent the company to meet contractual requirements

* Must be able to work professionally with clients, vendors, employees, supervisors and managers

Required Experience

* Undergraduate degree is preferred but not required

* Basic understanding of procurement and material control procedures

* Two to five years' Oil & Gas E&P experience is required

* Well educated and experienced with all aspects or the Microsoft suite of programs (including Excel)
