Job Summary:

* Provide technical and administrative support to the land department of the asset team

* Liaison between Land and Land Administration to insure accuracy of land records system

* Interact with and provide land support, as needed, to other disciplines of the asset team

* Involved in preparing offers to 3rd parties, such as offers to lease, farmout, joint exploration agreements, etc.

* Assist in preparation of various contracts and legal documents including assignments, farmouts, joint operating agreements, oil & gas leases, pooling agreements, communization agreements, etc.

* Preparation of proposal letters and monitor well proposals/elections, casing point elections and workover/recompletion proposals/elections

* Project and land ownership research using various sources

* Coordinate with Land Assistants in setting up prospect and division order files

* Possess adequate working knowledge of land, including calculations of WI, NRI on both operated and non-operated properties

* Adequate working knowledge of leases and division orders to interface with land administration personnel and handle difficult land owner questions

* Assist with preparation of plans of development to be filed for State and Federal units

Education/Experience Required:

* Must possess a high school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited, state-certified program

* Minimum of 3 years relevant work experience as a land technician (or similar role) required

* Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required

* Must be able to work in the United States indefinitely

Education/Experience Preferred:

* Bachelor's degree in energy or land-related field preferred

* Ability to work in a fast paced organization and multi-task

* Strong communication and teamwork skills
