Garnet Health (formerly Greater Hudson Valley Health System,) is a New York State, not-for-profit corporation headquartered in Middletown, New York, approximately 60 miles north of New York City. Responsibilities

Responsible for providing appropriate pediatric care to all patients at Garnet Health as well as leadership, coordination and administration. The Physician is a partner in an interdisciplinary team of providers and administrative support staff to perform assigned duties while displaying the highest of standards of ethical and moral conduct as well as acting in the best interest of Orange Regional Medical Center, supporting our mission, vision and values to optimize the health and well-being of our patients.

Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Board Certified or Board Eligible M.D. or D.O. licensed to practice in the State of New York possessing an unrestricted DEA certification while maintaining required staff privileges at Orange Regional Medical Center

Minimum Education:

Degree of M.D. or D.O. with recognized pediatric residency

Minimum Experience:

Professional clinical experience in pediatric care

Required Certification/Registration:

NYS Medical License, valid and unrestricted

Board Certification / Board Eligibility in pediatrics
ACLS, BLS, PALS certification

DEA Certification, valid and unrestricted

New York State Education Department Approved Child Abuse Training Certification

Must possess the physical and mental abilities to perform the tasks normally associated with the practice of pediatric medicine.
