Job Summary:

Provides quality customer service. Responsible for enhancing the arrival and departure experience by welcoming all patients to the facility with a warm friendly smile and offering assistance in a professional caring manner. Transports patients to and from various destinations. Must be able to assist patients utilizing various types of transportation equipment. Efficiently provides direct interpersonal care. Applies the principles of teamwork in all aspects of providing patient services.

Key duties and Responsibilities:

* Assists with patients in accordance with the health system policies, protocols and standards.

* Excellent communication and customer service skills.

* Adhere to the prescribed standards of Safety and HIPAA within the Healthcare organization.

* Works independently using professional judgement.

* Transports patients to their appointment destination within the facility

* Maintains a positive and professional atmosphere

* All other job related duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

* High School Diploma

* Medical Terminology

Preferred Skills:

* Good work ethic

* Previous customer service experience preferred

* Previous patient contact experience preferred
