Entry-Level Planner

Mead & Hunt Middleton, WI

Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an entry-level planner to work with our transportation and municipal department. This position could be located in our Madison or Milwaukee office.


Responsibilities include assisting with transportation, community planning and zoning projects; corridor studies; NEPA documentation; zoning codes; development review and long-range plans; research; data collection and analysis; graphics development; and document writing. Some travel may be required.


The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in urban planning, architecture, landscape architecture, or related field.

The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: master's degree in urban planning, or landscape architecture; experienced with urban planning principles; experience with ESRI products, Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop; strong analytical and quantitative skills; strong research and analysis skills; strong writing skills; experience with urban design, land division, zoning reviews, and NEPA documentation.
