A solutions-oriented position that seeks entrepreneurial and innovative ways to support events on Middlebury's Vermont locations, including the main campus in Middlebury, the Bread Loaf campus, and the Snow Bowl. Under the direction of the Associate Vice President for Operations, with a dotted reporting line to the Associate Provost for Planning, is responsible for the overall vision, strategy, organization, and leadership of the Department of Event Management. Fosters strong and collaborative working relationships with event service providers. Develops and implements administrative policies and procedures to facilitate effective event planning. Identifies ways to generate revenue through events.
