Job Responsibilities

The Power Home Remodeling Group seeks to add a Director of Human Resources to its corporate headquarters.

The Director of Human Resources is directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and operation of human resources and the human resources team across all PHRG locations. Directs and advises management at each location on polices, action recommendations and practices to support the companies' strategic success.

Primary Responsibilities:

* Oversees and directs the work of the Human Resources staff

* Responsible for hiring and onboarding processes

* Oversees the development and execution of performance management, review and termination process

* Oversees documentation and record keeping

* Develops and enforces PHRG policy and procedure

* Develops job descriptions and oversees compensation

* Ensures compliance with local, state and federal employment law

* Oversees benefits, 401k and workers' compensation programs for the company

* Plans, organizes and controls all activities of the department

* Participates in developing goals, objectives and systems for the Human Resources Team

* Develops team building and training programs for the team

* Other responsibilities as assigned by management

Required Education and Experience

* 7-10 Years in Human Resources and a minimum of 3-5 years management experience required

* Prior experience as a Director of Human Resources in a mid-size to large company required

* Bachelor's degree in HR or related field

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills

* Human Resources Certification preferred

* Limited periodic travel required
