Summary:

The Account Manager for ESAB will have responsibility for driving the end user and distributor sales growth at the local level within the Philadelphia, PA Territory. The ideal candidate must be able to function in a matrix organization and have the ability to utilize other resources to help them achieve their local goals. This is a home based sales position.

Essential Functions:

* Achieve sales growth within the geographic district.

* Maintain and develop long term customer relationships.

* Increase market share of the ESAB family of products.

* Identify target accounts and create effective sales strategies.

* Present and demonstrate products to Victor Technologies distribution channels and end users.

* Provide exceptional customer service.

* Overnight travel as required

Qualifications:

* Bachelor's Degree in Business or Marketing.

* 3-5 years of industrial product knowledge; industrial sales experience, with welding or related sales experience preferred.

* Proven experience in exceeding sales quotas and expectations.

* Ability to effectively identify, develop and execute account strategies.

* Strong communication and problem solving skills.

* Strong analytical skills.

* Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

* Ability to travel up to 35%, including overnight travel.
