POSITION PURPOSE:

Responsibilities include cleaning and maintaining public areas of the resort, assisting room/suite attendants with general cleaning of guest rooms and suites. This includes vacuuming, shampooing of carpets; cleaning/waxing of floors; trash removal; stocking and maintaining supply rooms and other cleaning duties. Delivery of requested items.

EXAMPLS OF DUTIES:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

* Delivery of items to and from guest rooms.

* Cleaning of public areas to include, but not limited to cleaning of public restrooms, corridors, lobby areas and other public spaces in the resort. This may include vacuuming, mopping, sweeping, waxing, scrubbing, wiping and dusting.

* Monitor payroll reports and work schedules

* Report maintenance requests to insure public areas comply with brand standards.

* Maintain accurate inventory of storeroom items.

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by the supervisor based upon the particular requirements of the company.

* Attend all mandatory meeting.

* Assists co-workers, as requested

* In addition to the above mentioned, may perform other duties as requested.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS:

EDUCATION:

High School graduate or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

One year prior customer service experience preferred but not necessary. One year prior experience in cleaning, janitorial or housekeeping
