MDS Communications, one of the nation's largest and most respected telephone fundraising companies, is presently hiring a Data Processing Administrator (DPA) to join our growing organization.

The Data Processing Administrator (DPA) job description includes:

The DPA processes incoming and outgoing data and related requests in a data intensive environment. The DPA works closely with the Data Processing Team, Account Managers, and other internal and external clients to ensure the proper processing of incoming data, filling data analysis requests, selecting/updating data based on segmentation performance analysis performed by others and returning data to internal and external customers. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks and people and make sound judgments. We are looking for focused individuals who have a high level of attention to detail, the ability to problem solve, great verbal and written communication skills, and a positive attitude. In addition, this position calls for the ability to manage large amounts of complex information easily and to communicate it clearly.

Skills/Requirements:

* Some familiarity with MS-Excel, MS-Access, MS-SQL Server Management Studio, or other data manipulation software.

Problem Solving:

* Attention to detail and concern for impact is essential

* Ability to recognize deviations from expected observations

* Calls attention to results that require attention

* Completes work in a timely fashion

Communication Skills:

* Ability to collaborate with a team

* Effectively communicates with others by giving and receiving feedback

* Communicates ideas and information clearly

* Must maintain a professional demeanor in sensitive situations

* Assist other departments as necessary

* Ability to follow detailed instructions

* Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment

* Must be proactive to ensure proper follow up and completion of projects

Nice to have:

* Experience with Relational Database Management Systems

* BS in Computer Science related field or commensurate work experience
