SUMMARY

This position is responsible for maintaining mold maintenance program in lamination department.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Awareness of other technician's duties throughout the day and offer technical assistance when supervisor or leadsperson are not available.

Assumes leadperson's responsibilities in their absence.

Knowledge of company policies and procedures and ensures that they are followed.

Maintains a clean and safe work area.

Working knowledge of all equipment in area.

Has access to current product information and industry standards, and ensures that they are followed.

Ensures quality of work in own area.

Interprets and maintains pertinent documentation.

Assists in training.

Must follow proper procedures in the safe handling of hazardous wastes, which may be generated during the manufacturing process.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma and 2 years related experience and/or training.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as prints, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to fellow employees of organization.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Must be able to read tape measure.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
