Compensation: $38.00 to $44.00 per hour

Robert Half Technology is seeking a Systems Support Specialist to join the IT team in our Menlo Park office. The Systems Support Specialist provides desktop computer support and first-level application and network troubleshooting for users in a Microsoft Windows and Apple macOS environment. Excellent technical, interpersonal, and customer service skills are required for a successful candidate for this position. Key responsibilities include: ? Hands-on and remote desktop / peripheral maintenance, including hardware and software installation, diagnostics, configuration and repair ? Virus and malware remediation ? Respond to incoming IT requests via walk-ups, phone or email ? Track requests through successful resolution or escalate as necessary ? Actively communicate progress with end users ? Prioritize and schedule IT requests ? Personnel on-boarding and off-boarding tasks, including computer preparation and account provisioning ? Coordinate equipment repairs with vendors including, but not limited to, Dell and Lenovo products ? Train staff on IT technology ? Document process and procedures for IT and end users ? Set up multimedia equipment for meetings and conferences ? Participate in the on-call rotation Qualifications for this position include: ? 5+ years of IT support experience in a detail oriented services environment ? Bachelor's degree preferred ? Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and mobile device issues ? Proven ability to install, troubleshoot, and maintain Microsoft Windows (7, 8, 10) and Apple OSX / MacOS on end user devices ? Proven knowledge of Microsoft Office, Adobe and related software packages ? Experience with mobile device management (AirWatch, Good) ? Experience with Active Directory user administration and Exchange mailbox creation ? Experience with imaging and disk partitioning solutions (SCCM, Acronis, R-Drive) ? Experience resolving basic network issues (i.e. DNS, DHCP) ? Experience with corporate antivirus solutions (Trend Micro, Symantec Endpoint Protection, McAfee) ? Experience with Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager a plus ? Excellent written and verbal communication skills ? Excellent customer service and documentation skills ? Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills with attention to detail ? Self-motivated and directed ? Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment ? Mac Support Specialist Requirements Top Skills/must haves ? MAC Support 4 + years ? Windows Desktop support ? Active directory ? adding, deleting users, MAC side Integrate computers in AD ? Exchange: mailbox provisioning ? Video conferencing support ? Mobile device management ? Wants someone who is passionate about technology and knows the latest technologies and stays up to date with them. 5 + years MAC Windows Desktop Support ? Their Mac Desktop person just left. ? This person will be part of the service desk team ? Environment 90% windows 10% Mac ? Since their MAC person is leaving they need to be strong with troubleshooting MACs ? Also need to be strong on Windows ? Know enough MAC to Integrate computers in AD ? Time machine back ups ? Will help get their Mac environment stable and Help progress it to next level ? They will support Menlo Park and Oakland locations totaling 190 end users ? Over team: Team size: 9 who support 20 offices ? Strong documentation ? Windows - solid on windows, troubleshooting on networking dhcp, VPN ? Exchange - mailbox provisioning ? SCCM - familiar is a plus ? Mobile device management ?
