Pediatric Adaptive Consultant/Nurse Case Manager (9880)

Position Summary

Independence On Wheels is seeking a highly motivated, responsible and organized RN with experience in pediatrics for the Memphis TN area office. The position requires knowledge of complex manual and complex power wheelchairs, custom seating systems (including custom molded solutions), standing frames, gait trainers, and other mobility adaptive equipment. The right candidate will be very comfortable working with pediatric and adult clients in their home and in clinical settings. Also, the candidate will have good marketing skills and will be able to increase market share in the location through self-generated leads.

Responsibilities:

* Markets and promotes company in order to sustain and increase market share

* Evaluates pediatric and adult clients in the home and in clinic settings

* Complete all paperwork and evaluations within Company timeline

* Educates all internal and delivery personnel on products they are not familiar with

* Assists with deliveries and service

* Complies with Company policies and procedures

* Some territory travel involved (possibly overnight stays on occasion)

* Keep up to date with all funding guidelines in order to make appropriate equipment recommendations

Position is full time with salary plus eligible commission.

Qualifications

Skills Required:

* Extensive knowledge of complex rehab equipment

* Experience with pediatric nursing required

* DME/Home Health experience required

* Knowledge of federal and state funding guidelines

* Knowledge of Microsoft Office products

* Knowledge of Apple iOS system

* Highly organized and proficient

* Professional in appearance and speech

Qualifications:

* 3 – 5 years minimum experience in complex rehab technology

* Current Nursing license - minimum of RN - is required

* Ride Designs certification is preferred

* Attention to detail and follow-up quickly

* Bachelor's degree or clinician is preferred

* Management experience is preferred
