Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)/Shearwave Level II
What You'll Do
As a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)/Shearwave Level II, you understand the true meaning of hard work. You are smart, strong, and willing to get dirty. You have a “roll up your sleeves” attitude and enjoy work that is more hands-on. Both your internal project managers and external clients are pleased with your evaluations, since inspections are something you take pride in. You will be part of a dynamic, growing, and energized team - and your role is key to the success of ECS. While your job duties may fluctuate day to day, here are some areas we expect to see you proficient in:
Testing of structural steel during erection on general building and pipeline sites, as well as plant inspections
General construction and structural steel erection
AWS and AISC specifications required
Testing of concrete and soils
*The individual hired into this position can sit in either our Nashville, TN or Memphis, TN office
What We're Looking For
High School diploma or GED
3+ years of experience
AWS-CWI/UT Level II/MT Level II required
Some serious GRIT and have no problem lifting/carrying 40 – 100 lbs. multiple times a day
