This position is part of the Application Services Development team with a primary focus of supporting the Manufacturing, Finance, Deliver, and Source functional teams. The position is responsible for the design, development, implementation and support of SAP custom applications.

Key Accountabilities:

* Work cohesively with Information Technology resources, business analysts, consultants and business representatives

* Work with functional teams in order to understand the functional requirements and assist in the creation of solid functional specifications

* Provide technical expertise to help formulate a solution to satisfy the functional requirements

* Develop custom applications which meet the functional requirements

* Define and document technical specifications for custom developed applications

* Perform unit testing to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the solution

* Follow application and system architecture guidelines

* Work with team members to ensure the delivered design meets the business requirements

* Investigate issues in test and production environments and provide resolution recommendations

* Provide recommendations to the functional teams on how to improve existing and future custom programs

* Participate and conduct knowledge transfer sessions with other team members

* Interacting when required with business group representatives

Knowledge and Experience:

Functional Skills:

* Ability to clearly articulate verbal and written requirements between customers and technical resources

* Demonstrated ability to perform analysis and to facilitate and translate requirements into technical requirements

* Experience in multiple SAP modules preferred

* Ability to function in a constantly changing environment

* Capable of working with minimal supervision

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Technical Skills:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related field, or equivalent work experience

* Minimum 7+ years of hands on ABAP programming experience


* Strong understanding of the main functions in the ABAP Workbench-Data Dictionary,Reports

* 3 Years Experience in SAP Workflow, troubleshooting, customization and Business Objects.

* 3 Years of Experience in Enhancement Framework

* Strong experience and knowledge in Data migration techniques

* Must have worked on Flat file Interfaces, LSMW, BDCs, and BAPI.

* Experience using BADIs, Exits, BTE.

* Experience developing reports utilizing ALV List, Grid and Classes.

* Experience with screen painter / module pool programs

* Experience creating/modifying SAPScripts and Smartforms

* Strong experience in ALE/IDOCs

* Should be efficient in Debugging and troubleshooting

* Should have worked on Support Pack transactions like SPAU and SPDD

* Should possess domain knowledge of SD,MM,PM,PS,AM,FICO

* Experience using ABAP Object Oriented Programming.

* Experience with SAP Solution Manager


* Experience using Adobe forms

* WebDynpro experience required in some areas

* Knowledge of SAP UI5/Fiori
