Description

Manage and lead staff and multi-functional partners to meet business and organizational goals. Determines priorities and defines the work and expectations of the OTC stability team. Provide data to support product dossiers for new product launches required by the FDA. Train, develop and improve the performance of the OTC Stability group through coaching, mentoring and administration of first line managers and staff. Integrate internal and external capabilities to improve the analytical support provided to the corporation.

* Directs all non-technical aspects of the global OTC Stability Programs. Leads the OTC Stability Team through detailed planning and critical decision making needed to ensure strict timelines are met.

* Reviews data and assess the impact on FDA regulations. Communicates with upper management issues critical to the global OTC program.

* Keep proficient and up-to-date of FDA Regulations and compliance and evaluate the impact on the Global OTC Stability Program and the corporation.

* Builds organizational talent & capability through coaching and mentoring.

* Manages testing of Melville Pilot Lab regulated batches.

Qualifications

Master's Degree in Chemistry Related Field

6 Years

5% Travel

Strong technical skills in current analytical chemistry methods and instrumentation. Ability to direct several critical processes simultaneously by determining priorities and workload distribution. Working knowledge of complaint stability software programs. Expert in FDA Regulations, ICH Guidelines and cGMP Procedures. Strong ability to assess workloads and proactively implement work processes to meet business needs.
