Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for a Project Manager 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

This role is within the Program Integration Team in the Strike Division in Melbourne, FL. The selected candidate will lead a diverse organization of project managers within the Strike portfolio. Responsibilities include overall programmatic operation and integration; directly supporting the office of the program manager in day-to-day execution. Reviews status of projects; manages schedules and prepares status reports. Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives. Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers. Manage, lead and mentor Program Operations tasks through implementation of Project Management principles.

This is a high visibility role that gets to integrate vertically and horizontally across the IPT to ensure successful program execution. Be prepared to do something different and challenging every day - tackle problems and generate solutions! This individual should possess leadership and team building capabilities, and have strong interpersonal skills. Must possess solid organization abilities and be a motivated, flexible team player. Some travel may be required.

Basic Qualifications:

* Current, Active Secret Clearance (last investigation completed within last 6 years); ability to attain and maintain program access (PAR)

* Bachelor's Degree (or higher) from an accredited university

* Mastery of Microsoft Office tool suite; the ability to create, manage, and manipulate PowerPoint, Word, Excel

* Knowledge of Project Management principles and experience utilizing them professionally

* Proven success managing multiple, large and multifaceted projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications:

* 6 years Project Management experience with Bachelors or 4 years with Masters

* Ability to effectively interface with all levels of employees and Leadership

* Current PAR access - Required SAP access

* PMP Certification

* SharePoint experience
