The Sourcing Commodity Lead will report to the Marketing Sourcing Manger within the Procurement, Professional Services Sourcing Organization. The successful candidate will partner with specific Digital Marketing business owners to identify mid to long term mutual partnership benefits and execute against them to continually improve the value derived from third party relationships while managing complex relationships.

The Sourcing Commodity Lead will exhibit strong business acumen with a proven track record for success within transformational sourcing environments. Primary focus is to align with the Digital Marketing groups in a way that results in positive impact to them achieving their business goals, while optimizing value to the overall organization.

Responsibilities will include:

* Developing and executing commodity and sourcing strategies and practices for one or more Marketing Sub Commodities with emphasis on Digital Marketing

* Developing negotiation strategies for all levels of contract from tactical through strategic/complex negotiations.Ability to navigate within an Agile contracting framework.

* Creating and developing strong working relationships with key internal and external partners up to Executive levels to achieve strategic objectives of the company

* Working with and leading cross-functional teams to execute sourcing initiatives from start to finish, including the competitive bidding process and contract negotiations

* Driving innovation related to strategic sourcing and supplier relations

* Continuously developing and disseminating subject matter expertise of trends and best practices within the marketplace.

* Maintaining close relations with the industry supply base and industry experts with the objective to develop innovative solutions to complex problems.

* Working with the business owners, developing strategy plans that optimizing the value derived from third party engagements and mitigating associated risks.

* Prioritizing projects to ensure demonstrated impact to the business as evidenced by their support of Sourcing's contributions

* Utilizing analytical thinking and tools to identify new benefits generation and/or report outcomes

* Seeking out opportunities to play a role in strategic projects that support the commodity and/or special projects in support of Procurement

* Leading high value, strategic supplier selection RFx events using best practice methodology
