License/Certification/Education: Normally requires an Associate or Bachelor's Degree in appropriate technology w/5-6 years of experience.

LabCorp Diagnostics is seeking a Project Analyst- Workforce Optimization (WFO) for its McLeansville, N.C. location.

As a Project Analyst, you will lead WFO solution deployment teams within various functions of the business. Responsible for driving Workforce Optimization (WFO) change management into the Organization. Serves as part of the organization's own internal WFO Consulting Team. Responsible for supporting the business as part of a centralized unit for administration and overall management of Workforce Optimization. Responsible for helping development, maintain, and deliver end-user training for all users. Application Administration of WFO solution and overall product Subject Matter Expert for organization.

Responsibilities:

* Leads and manages WFO deployment and improvement projects as assigned.

* Directs strategic projects and activities.

* Responsible for working closely with business owners to achieve project objectives and goals.

* Facilitates daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual meetings with project teams. Coordinates any corrective actions for project plan and project implementation.

* Makes regular reports to management on improvement project progress, barriers and issues.

* Ensures appropriate identification to root causes through effective use of data analysis tools and techniques.

* Continues to work with the appropriate resources to enable the decision making process by providing meaningful reporting. Acts as an advisor and consultant to the business as it relates to WFO.

* Manages the collection and consolidation of project reporting

* Identify unfavorable variance to the project plan that require countermeasure actions.

* Ensure appropriate identification of root causes through effective use of data analysis tools and techniques when needed.

* Track implementation and execution of countermeasures to provide accountability to current project plan.

* Ensure consistent reporting across similar functional areas.

* Prepares and presents findings/proposals to senior leadership with recommendations, including cost benefit analysis, risk mitigation and action plans.

* Provides Project Management guidance and assistance directly to management on a broad range of business issues of a complex nature.

* Must work with significant autonomy and require only casual supervision.

* Makes recommendations to management and may initiate implementation of new protocols, methodologies or processes.

* Reviews and assesses various courses of action to provide an improved basis for management decisions.

* Serves as subject matter expert to help with WFO deployment.

* Travel required
