Senior Engineer

The role of the Senior Engineer is to write and maintain software for advertising, consumer and digital enterprise data warehouses to support enterprise-wide analysis and reporting initiatives.

Responsibilities:

* Modify and write ingests processes.

* Works with product stakeholders and sponsors to gather requirements for new software development and modifications.

* Working with other software developers, determines and communicates feasibility, level of complexity and schedules around the requests.

* Works with software developers to ensure user requirements are fulfilled in general program specifications and detailed program designs.

* Communicates issues that arise during the testing with the developer and reviews that affect to the project schedules.

* Prepare and execute test plans that describe methods for verifying programs function as intended. This can include manual testing as well as automated regression testing.

* Determine your own project work and lead others in their participation in the project work.

* Demonstates software enhancements and changes for users, sponsors, and/or other team members.

* Show strong organizational skills and handles multiple projects or a complex project.

* Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.

Requirements

* Four year college degree or 5 plus years' experience in related business area.

* All common office software applications, especially Excel. Knowledge of the SQL Server, T-SQL, Service Now and SharePoint is a plus. Additionally, experience with Microsoft Office 365 is beneficial.

* Strong analytical skills, with the ability to follow department standards and meeting high levels of quality, clarity and efficiency; ability to organize and plan work for self; knowledge of publishing /media business issues, particularly advertising, consumer marketing and circulation
