Accounting Clerk - Mary Esther, FL

The Accounting Clerk is responsible for providing financial and administrative support in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

* Receive and verify invoices and requisitions for goods and services

* Data enter invoices for payment

* Maintain listing of accounts payable

* Maintain the general ledger

* Set invoices up for payment

* Reconcile payments

* Resolve differences in invoices

* Give supports to other projects when necessary

* Issue reports as needed


* High School Diploma or GED.

* Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable

* Ability to maintain a high confidentiality concerning financial and employee files

* Experience with Excel

* QuickBooks knowledge preferred, but not required

* Analytical and problem-solving skills

* Ability to easily switch tasks

* Effective writing, verbal and listening communications skills

* Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
