RTR proudly provides services for individuals with intellectual disabilities, acquired brain injury, autism and complex medical conditions through Residential supports, Day Habilitation programs and Work Supports.

Relief Staff are able to work on as needed basis at any of the RTR support departments.

o Provide direct care support to the individuals served.

o Provide assistance and transportation for community activities

o Provide support, evaluation and treatment to achieve OT, PT, speech, nursing and behavioral objectives

o Develop skills such as self-care, communication, independence, safety and other activities of daily living.

o Complete general housekeeping tasks such as cooking, cleaning, shovel snow, laundry, shopping for household needs, etc.

o Provide vocational training, activities of vocational rehabilitation.

o Implement behavior plan support strategies

o Maintain documentation, monitor health and changes in support needs.

o Serve as a liaison with team, family, medical providers, employers etc. .

o Serve as an appropriate role model

o Encourage, drive and participate in community activities

o Maintain frequent communication with the Director of Relief Staffing.

Schedules: The diversity of RTR programs provides a variety of shift options. Relief staff are called to cover shifts on a per diem basis or may be pre-scheduled by Managers as needed.

Requirements: Minimum; High school grad/equivalent, valid driver's license, at least 18 years old, basic computer skills.
