Talent Sourcing Specialist

Generates a talent pipelines to acquire qualified candidates with an emphasis on non-clinical roles, to provide exceptional services within senior living and health care communities; establishes relationships with recruitment resources and develops proactive candidate searches; utilizes advertising, job fairs and in-house recruitment efforts.


* Supports talent acquisition for system-wide staffing needs.

* Creates and fosters partnerships and/or relationships with community resources such as vocational training facilities, local high schools, colleges and other pertinent recruiting organizations to provide adequate pool of qualified candidates.

* Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, local high schools, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites.

* Proactively creates and maintains a pipeline of qualified candidates through cold calling/e-mailing, professional networking, data mining, social media, and resume databases, etc.

* Attracts applicants by placing job postings; contacting recruiters, using newsgroups and job sites.

* Assist in defining, designing and implementing the Sourcing Strategy for building/managing talent pools for specific candidate profiles/labor shortage positions.

* Partners with HR Directors on the job intake process to assure understanding of new job requisition recruiting objectives.

* Provides recruitment support to assure system recruitment processes are followed.

* Assists with internal and external advertising efforts and tracks associated costs as directed.

* Assists with talent network on website.

* Stays current on sourcing best practices/trends.

* Posts/manages postings on various job boards, social media, etc.

* Assists with measuring and monitoring the effectiveness of strategic sourcing activities.

* Recommends and participates in both internal and external recruiting job fairs and career events.

* Conducts timely in-depth phone screens of potential candidates and provides assistance in the pre-screening interview process as appropriate.

* Requires travel to professionally represent Lutheran SeniorLife while cultivating relationships and attend various functions (job fairs, schools, etc.).

* Performs other duties as assigned.


* Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related fields required, Bachelor's degree preferred.

* Minimum 1 year experience in sourcing/employment interviewing required with knowledge of technical and legal aspects of Human Resources;

* Understanding of Job Boards, Applicant Tracking, and Social Media as a recruitment tool preferred;

* Computer literacy including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required, ATS experience preferred.

* Must possess valid driver's license and have reliable transportation.

* Working knowledge of computers, Microsoft Word and Excel required.
