Position Summary

The position supports the Warehouse Manager in directing the overall activities of the Warehouse and interfaces with the supervisors of other departments to ensure delivery of product in an efficient and timely manner consistent with company policies and procedures.

Duties & Responsibilities

* Monitor daily activity of warehouse personnel to ensure that productivity, service levels and quality standards are met.

* Implement, train and operate systems/equipment in an efficient manner to receive, maintain and ship inventory.

* Monitor cycle count programs and coordinate annual physical inventory.Assist in the supervision of warehouse personnel in accordance with organizational policies

* Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.

* Operate and maintain preventively warehouse vehicles and equipment.

* Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

* Associate degree in Business Administration is preferred.

* 2 years experience in a lead or supervisory role in logistics, warehousing or similar.

* Basic knowledge of inventory and warehouse management is preferred.

* Ability to exercise judgement and to work independently.

* Must demonstrate consistency, accuracy and follow-through.

* Extensive product knowledge or the ability to obtain product knowledge.
