What you'll do on a typical day:

* Define requirements and gap analysis for all new client integration or internal projects including operational process, data flow, integration requirements, KPIs, reporting needs, financial and operational assumptions, SOP content needs, operational staffing/equipment/facility/contract resource requirements, timelines, and services

* Manage projects assigned from the project management queue and in accordance with defined project management methodology; set timelines, work with all involved parties to discuss, manage, and execute on deliverables within the determined timeline; provide issue resolution options and solutions where needed

* Document process flows and SOP content to provide to Training Department

* Follow up on completed projects to analyze health of the account, review KPIs and operational assumptions vs. planned

* Participate in meetings with Operations Support department to ensure global coordination across multiple technical and operational initiatives

* Develop new processes and procedures for growth and development of the department and employees

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

* Bachelor's degree

* 2 years of operations or project management experience

* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows applications; ability to quickly learn and achieve proficiency in new software applications

* Demonstrated ability to create processes/procedures for Field Operations through usage of DMS, eTrack, routing software, and Deposco

* Availability to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends; occasional travel

It'd be great if you also have:

* Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Engineering, Finance, or Business-related field

* PMP (Project Management Professional)

* 2 years of operations or project management experience in logistics or transportation field

* Strong fluency/expert-level user of MS Visio (or comparable flow-chart tool) and MS Project (or comparable project management tool)

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to present clean, organized, and thorough information and data appropriate for intended audience

* Ability to develop insightful, value-added, and actionable analyses with detailed explanations regarding drivers of those results; produce unambiguous, comprehensive, and accurate interpretations
