Facilities Technician (30 hours per week - benefited)

WestBridge is a private non-profit organization dedicated to a new direction in the treatment of adult men with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. Our treatment model adheres to the evidence based practices developed at Dartmouth Psychiatric Research Center. Our goal is to provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support to help individuals maximize their recovery, gain hope and empowerment, and become respected and valued members of their community.


The Facilities Technician will perform routine building maintenance for building and rental properties. Provides assistance to staff, visitors and other employees as necessary.


* Performs work according to standard procedure and by building's operational schedule

* Makes minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical and plumbing repairs

* Performs touch up and finish painting

* Replaces light bulbs

* Sets up and tears down chairs, tables and equipment in meeting rooms

* Clears snow from entrances and walkways (not sure about this but about this but wanted to add it)

* Follows all applicable safety rules and policies and procedures

* Reports work progress, completions or needs to supervisor

* Participates in general maintenance, painting, and repair work

* Uses hand tools and power tools in making minor maintenance repairs and maintaining buildings

* Assists in shipping and receiving of supplies and materials

* Corresponds with outside vendors, if needed

* Provides assistance to staff, visitors, and other employees as necessary


* The skills and knowledge required would generally be obtained with previous experience in building cleaning and maintenance work.

* Ability to lift and carry objects weighing from 15 to 25 pounds and occasionally 50 pounds or more.

* Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, or snow.

* While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to sit, converse, and listen; use hands to touch, handle, or feel objects, tools or controls; and to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.

* The employee must be able to life and/or carry over 20 pounds on a regular basis and be able to push/pull over 25 pounds on a regular basis.

* The employee must be able to stand and/or walk at least five hours per day.
