CS03 - Program Manager - Process Uplift

The program manager will be a key leader within the Business Process Management (BPM) Program, where we will be implementing a new BPM suite that enables transformations of process, enhances crew experience, and allows us to more seamlessly integrate with existing and emerging technologies. The solution will be replacing AWD.

The program manager will be responsible for working with RIG businesses to uplift processes before implementing to ensure we get the full value from the new solution.

To manage programs that support increasingly complex business lines. To serve as the central lead for development, integration, coordination, and communication of the collective work streams related to key strategic program initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Acts as the program leader by setting the direction, approach, and framework related to the implementation of identified initiatives. Monitors the progress of all work stream deliverables, and ensures the active management of all identified issues risks, and mitigation plans. As new workstreams are identified, ensured integration into the program.

2. Partners with senior leadership team to understand client and business insights, and develop transformation agenda and portfolio of initiatives

3. Ensures strong project management, execution, change management, communication, analytic, and design approaches are learned and applied by team

4. Provides thought leadership to guide program success and evolution. Informs strategy and ensures the program is setup for success based on understanding change functions, related partner groups and available resources at Vanguard.

5. Leads major initiatives and ensures initiatives have the resources, support, access, direction and decisions needed to succeed. Serves as departmental representative on broader related initiatives and informs the department of external impacts and influences.

6. Develops strategic relationships with leaders across Vanguard. Serves as a consultant and partner across divisions to help the program meet its goal. Manages relationships with key insight and change related partners.

7. Communicates clearly and effectively through informal and formal communications including e-mail, presentations, and one-to-one discussions. Ensures leaders and divisions are informed of key events and impacts.

8. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.


* Undergraduate degree. MBA degree preferred.

* Minimum eight years of experience.

* Ability to understand and diagnose complex business problems.

* Strong program and project management plus change leadership skills.

* Ability to evaluate issues and follow a structured approach to make sound decisions.

* Ability to work in a fast paced environment across multiple initiatives.

* Excellent verbal communication, writing and presentation skills.

* Ability to interact effectively with all levels, influence and resolve conflicts.

* Experience creating and comfort delivering executive-level presentations.
