Human Resources Coordinator

To provide effective and efficient human resources support to employees, managers and corporate, including Plants' HR to assist them in achieving organizational objectives. The HR Coordinator will also perform HR related administrative support services.

* Provides Human Resource expertise and support for functional areas of HR covering: recruiting, onboarding and new hire orientation, administration of HR programs and processes,

* Recruiting: travel arrangements for candidates traveling to the Plants and or Headquarters for an interview; set-up candidates in Concur for reimbursement. Conducts candidate screening as needed.

* On-Boarding new employees including: initiating background check, creating the onboarding package in the onboarding tool, guide new employees through onboarding processes including orientation of new employees.

* Monitors employee recognition program account for US: checks accuracy, handles any problems with employee gifts, updates files online.

* Manage and process the tuition reimbursement program and wellness programs

* Provides information as needed in response to inquiries regarding HR policy, guideline issues, FMLA, STD/LTD, holidays, and vacation, etc.

* Work with the benefits department to support employee benefit issues. Communicate and coordinate the delivery of benefits.

* Work with HRIS and HR Programs to support Plant's HR.

* Administration of the Ceilings Supervisor Network Portal (presentation documents, agendas, member list, etc.)

* Audits I-9s completion for US.

* Assists with processing of new hires, terminations and changes forms; relocation and immigration initiation.

* Create and maintain electronic and hard copy of employee's personnel file as well as retain/purge files at year-end in accordance with the company retention policy

* Conducts weekly payroll audits.

* Prepares monthly reports relating to KPIs (Turnover, OT, Diversity, recruiting), etc.

* Assists in preparing Powerpoint presentations for various projects

* Schedule and coordinate appointments, conference calls, meetings, training sessions, and, occasionally events on and off site arranging hotel and meeting facility accommodations, meals and refreshments

* Audit and process invoices and expenses reports assuring accuracy, account coding, procedural adherence and resolve discrepancies.

* Order office supplies for HR department and maintain stock.

* Bachelor's degree in Business, Labor Relations, or Human Resource related fields or equivalent training and experience which provide general and working knowledge of human resources processes and procedures.

* Minimum of 2 or more years of direct experience in Human Resource functions.

* Core competencies include sense of urgency, decisiveness, integrity, excellent verbal and written communications skills, good judgment and to work effectively with all levels of the organization.

* Basic knowledge of HR computer software programs and systems.

* Ability to handle confidential employee information with discretion and good judgment.

* Proficient MS office tools (Windows, Word, Excel, Powerpoint Access is a plus)

* Must be a team player.
