Cabinet Maker / Prototyper

Calling all craftsmen!! UPC is looking for experienced Cabinet and Casework Craftsmen to work in our custom Studio line. This position has opportunities to create and work on projects that include wood, plastic and metal fabrication in our custom job shop.

Individuals who are most successful have a combination of woodworking, plastic fabricating or metal work experience. Energetic, self-starter with a positive attitude and exceptional dependability will put you in the seat of success. Our Cabinet Maker is essential in delivering a customized, high quality sample that will exceed our customer's expectations.


* 2-4 years experience with all shop tools including hand tools, table saws, routers, measuring tools etc.

* Individuals must also have experience with laminating, finishing, adhesives and assembly

* Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in furniture and/or cabinet making and wood working

* Must be able to read technical drawings & blueprints, follow critical measurement, and an ability to produce from rough concepts

* Applicant must be able to work individually and with a team

* Able to lift 50 to 70lbs frequently; walk and stand for long periods of time

* Broad knowledge of materials and manufacturing processes

* Proven communication skills, both written and verbal
